We are all advised to eat 5 servings of fruits and vegetables each day. Pregnant mothers are advised to eat even more fruit and vegetables! That’s because they provide necessary vitamins and minerals to support the baby’s growth, as well as fibre which helps digestion.
Sadly, healthy food is falling further out of reach; almost half of us are buying less food or lower-quality food to make ends meet.
