The Central Okanagan Community Food Bank is a volunteer driven organization. Simply put, we would not exist without the hard work, commitment and dedication of our volunteers! We wish to thank those who contribute their time through volunteering, fundraising and food collection throughout the year. It’s through such contributions from the public that we are able to ensure food reaches those who need it.
Every year, the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank relies on approximately 150 volunteers, contributing more than 25,000 hours.
Volunteers are needed at both Kelowna and West Kelowna locations. Getting involved is easy.
We do two volunteer orientations per month in Kelowna, and Tuesdays in West Kelowna. Please call either branch for more information:
Kelowna: 250-763-7161 West Kelowna: 250-768-1559 (ask for Gary)
To join our team, please print and complete the Volunteer Application Form (pdf), bring it with you to the next volunteer orientation.
