Walmart’s Fight Hunger Spark Change fundraising campaign to support food banks across Canada has generated over 100 million meals since 2017. Organized through Food Banks Canada, the Central Okanagan Food Bank has been so grateful to partner with our local Kelowna and West Kelowna Walmart locations to receive donations of food and funds year after year. We want to highlight this wonderful initiative and shout out our Kelowna and Westbank Walmart store managers and staff for their enthusiastic participation in supporting COFB.

We run on community helping community. Every dollar and can donated helps local families in need. Even as the seasons are starting to shift, food insecurity remains a stark reality for so many. Your neighbours need your support year round.

All funds and food raised through the Fight Hunger Spark Change campaign go directly to COFB and support local families, seniors, and individuals with essential food aid. Fight Hunger Spark Change began February 20, 2025 and runs through March 19, 2025. Donate at our local Walmart stores at the till or bring nonperishable goods to their food collection bins at the fronts of their stores.
