BC Farmers' Market Nutritional Coupon Program

The Farmers’ Market Nutrition Coupon Program runs throughout the summer months, aligning with the abundance of fresh produce across the province. We are proud to participate in this program and serve as a distribution point for the Kelowna Farmers’ Market.

Enrolled households have the opportunity to receive $27 per week in coupons, allowing them to purchase a variety of fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and other nutritious products at the Kelowna Farmers’ Market.

How it Works

Enrollment: To participate in the program, households need to apply. The program is in high demand, and tickets are limited, and not all applicants can be accommodated each year.

Eligibility: Due to limited space, we will prioritize new applicants; households with young children; pregnant individuals; seniors over the age of 55; and individuals with health issues. Please click here to fill out our application form.

Distribution: We are pleased to serve as a distribution point for this vital program. Once enrolled, eligible households can collect their coupons from our location, along with their monthly food hamper, beginning in mid-late June.

Coupon Redemption: The coupons can be redeemed at your local Farmers’ Market. This not only supports local farmers but also provides participants with access to a diverse range of fresh and healthy produce to support dietary needs.

Important Dates

Notification: Applicants selected for the program will be notified on June 14, 2024.
Coupon Distribution: Coupon distribution will begin on June 17, 2024.

Farmer's Market Nutritional Coupons can be used to purchase vegetables, fruits, nuts, eggs, dairy, herbs, vegetable & fruit plants, honey, meat, and fish.
