The Merry Moments Program (previously called Sponsor a Family) spreads holiday cheer by connecting our generous supporters with families and seniors in need.

Applications for direct matching are now closed, but we are still gratefully accepting donations to continue supporting those in need this holiday season. Your contributions ensure that everyone can experience the joy and warmth of the holidays.

Ways You Can Still Help:

• Specialty Items: Consider donating specialty items like teas, coffees, hot chocolate, or other treats. These small comforts can make a big difference for families during the holidays.
• Handmade Warmth: If you’re crafty, we’d love to receive cozy baby hats, scarves for seniors, or warm socks. Handmade items bring a special touch of care.
• Gift Cards: A gift card to places like Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Save On Foods, or other local grocery stores can give families the opportunity to treat themselves or purchase essentials.
• New or Unused Gifts: Do you have new or gently used items or gifts that have been sitting in your home? These could be just what someone else needs or would love to receive!
• Store Owners: If you own a business and have overstock, last year’s Christmas items, or other products you’re ready to move on from, we would be thrilled to accept those too!
• Monetary Donations: A financial contribution, no matter the size, helps us purchase items in greatest need and ensures every family has a brighter holiday season.
